Looking in on Vera …

Such a fabulous response to yesterday’s photoshoot, so I went back to Vera today and read all the Facebook messages she had received. She was tickled pink! And she graciously let me take some more photos through the window while I was out on her verandah.

Vera …

You might remember my 89 year old neighbour from her gorgeous swimsuit photography sessions with me? Despite being in lockdown for the last two months she has been keeping active each day. She has been doing timed walking laps around her block (up to 35 laps a day) and every exercise from her Active Seniors class. I think she will be rocking that cossie when she is allowed back down the beach!

Motherlove …

It features so strongly throughout my work. That beautiful connection between a mother and her child. Thank you to all the gorgeous mothers who have let me capture this connection over the last year X

COVID-19 …

Welcome baby Theodore …

It was lovely to get together with this family again after their maternity shoot and to meet their new addition. Well, hello there. Everyone appears smitten with you. Except maybe the dog. He is still taking some adjusting to the new family dynamic.

Theodore …

Loved and secure in his dad’s arms.

Family …

The best thing about outdoor family sessions is having the freedom to explore and the space for movement. This family fully embraced the opportunity and we had lots of adventures with the children to capture.

Leo …

Can’t quite believe his good luck that he has a whole, delicious cake in front of him and nobody is making a move to stop him eating it. It’s good to be the birthday boy.

Evie …

When you become the big sister and the responsibility falls on you to keep everyone entertained.

Paris …

Delighted to photograph this impressive young woman again today. Juggling senior school and part-time work, Paris is also getting ready to launch her own business. Making a 100% natural body scrub made from a few of my favourite things … coffee, chocolate and coconut, amongst other things. What’s not to love about that combination?

Sneak peek …

I was heading to a newborn shoot last week and knew I had arrived at the right house when I saw a big delivery of Nespresso pods at the front door. This house has 3 boys under 3 years old, so I imagine caffeine is an integral part of parenting. Welcome baby Cole X.

Autumn …

The change in seasons was so dramatic in NY, where all the parks were an amazing riot of colour. Sort of like a gift to your senses to get you through the impending grey of winter.
