A pocket of sunshine, a bride who is a dancer, and that amazing dress. What a delightful combination to photograph!

The ‘golden hour’ before sunset can produce such beautiful, soft light. My absolute favourite time of day to shoot.

With my youngest son now over 6ft tall, I love capturing those moments with families that show how little their children currently are. Time moves fast, often without us noticing.

I couldn’t have wished for a better prop to appear for this morning’s shoot with a family visiting from London.

Feeling relaxed and recharged after four days away hiking in the Snowy Mountains. Spending time sharing stories and making memories with a gorgeous circle of friends.

What an incredibly special guest to have at the wedding on the weekend. The bride’s grandmother, Phyllis, 104 years old and the holder of so many family memories.

The bride grew up at McMahon’s Point, so it was only fitting that Sydney Harbour put on a sparkling day for her wedding. So many beautiful backdrops, ridiculously cute children in the bridal party, and a fun couple that thoroughly enjoyed celebrating their day together.

When you don’t quite have the endurance to make it through all of the wedding speeches.

Such a big day of celebrations, with Xander’s baptism and Emma + Vince surprising all their family and friends by getting married as well. Such a gorgeous day for everyone involved.

What a secret to keep! I was booked to photograph Xander’s baptism, but when all the family and friends were at lunch, Emma and Vince were going to surprise everyone by getting married. It all worked perfectly and it completely floored the guests. Lots of tears and emotion, and a gorgeous double celebration.

Yesterday’s family session had two brothers with long legs and lots of energy, so we incorporated lots of running and climbing trees. I’m loving all the greenery and the beauty of these majestic old fig trees.
