Coming together …

In June, I start thinking about Christmas. I look for inspiration and take into account the last 7 years I’ve shot Christmas photos and want to offer something different each year. I source a backdrop, then start gathering props and do a model shoot to test out outfits and poses. It makes my heart sing when I start shooting and it all comes together just as I had envisioned 💕

You’ve got mail …

Christmas mini-sessions start tomorrow and I’ve just spent the afternoon bringing in the reindeers and sprinkling the snow. I’ll have my Santa letterbox here again this year, so feel free to bring any letters or drawings your children would like to drop in.

Cousins …

My Christmas mini-sessions start next week and I’m excited to catch up with lots of familiar faces and to meet some new families. Cousins Freya + Alexia having been coming for photos for 6 years and it’s been wonderful to watch them grow and have this annual tradition together.

Problem …

I won’t say I’m addicted to finding cute props each year to go with my Christmas set, but I do keep a keen eye out for the courier at this time of the year. I meet him at the door before my husband gets there and raises his eyebrows at another delivery!
