Belinda …

I’ve known Belinda for the last 15 years and we’ve met every few months for the ‘Ross St Ladies Card Night’. Playing cards is definitely not our strong point, but our nights have always been about laughter, champagne and friendships forged over raising our children in the same neighbourhood. A gorgeous community of strong, caring and talented women. Happy belated birthday Bel from the girls X

For her first birthday, Lottie has worked out that she has legs and can use them to move fast and explore her world. So here is possibly the last seated photo her parents might ever get.

Autumn light …

Such a gorgeous time of year for family sessions on the beach as I shoot during the ‘golden hour’ before sunset when the light is magical. This is now at a much more family-friendly time, with sessions starting at 4pm.
Let me know if you would like a copy of my Welcome Guide with all the details of what is included in my family sessions and examples of my style of photography. Let’s explore the amazing backdrops we have on our doorstep.

Isla …

With every newborn session, you receive all your images in colour and the same set converted to black + white. That’s double the love.

Magic …

We had a sunset family shoot booked for North Curly beach this week, but due to the rough sea and exposed rocks, there was no beach. We moved the shoot harbour side, but then the North Curly surfboat turned up there to train in the calm waters. Nothing a little Photoshop can’t fix.

Garrick …

When the family dog photobombs the wedding portraits. I love that the sun flare makes it look like the dog is about to be teleported into space.

Theo + Freya …

I’ve been photographing these smartly dressed siblings for a few years and have delighted in watching them grow closer each time I see them. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic shifts as Theo catches up in height to his sister.

Comforter …

Whenever Ruthie became unsettled during her newborn session, her dad would tuck her in close to his beard where she would happily snuggle and settle. Looks like we know who will be on duty for the early morning wake ups.
