Fresh bread …

That new baby smell is just delicious! Someone referred to it like a loaf of bread, fresh from the oven 💕.

Snow …

There’s a lot of planning that goes on behind the scenes for my Christmas mini-sessions, and I had some fabulous helpers test out the set on the weekend. And yes, there will be snow this year! Stay tuned 🎄

Review …

I absolutely love what I do, so receiving this review makes my heart sing. Thanks Dana 💕.
“Amanda is truly a master of her craft and created the most breathtaking portraits of my daughter and our family. Amanda’s beautiful home studio is warm and inviting. She was so patient, kind and professional with our infant daughter and knew exactly how to interact with her to get the best shots possible. We will forever cherish the photographs that Amanda took. It is obvious that she genuinely cares about her work and her clients, and we would not hesitate to recommend Amanda to anybody looking for a quality, skilled photographer.”

Lifetime of memories …

I’ve just been up the coast helping my parents move house, and have come back home with all their photo albums. Remember that world before digitals? Cupboards full of yellowing albums. Some absolute treasures in there, and I’m keen to preserve the images so they can be handed down to the generations that follow. Sort, scan and share. But first, I’m going to need more coffee!

ABC …

Honoured to have my photos appear in an article on the ABC website today. This is a session I did as a volunteer for Heartfelt, on behalf of baby Oliver and his parents. A beautiful story about dealing with stillbirth, and involving friends and family in creating memories. The link to the article … ABC news article
