Middle …

And that’s exactly the best spot to be. Right in the middle of the two people who love you the most in the world 💕.

Kai …

I photographed Kai as a newborn, so was delighted to catch up with his family this afternoon and see the changes after 10 months. All big blue eyes and on a serious charm offensive 💕.

May be an image of 1 person, baby, hat and scarf

This photo just popped up on my feed from 2015. We had just returned from living in NY and I was preparing to start my photography business. I spotted a mum on Manly Beach who was laughing and playing with her young son. I nervously approached and asked if I could photograph them. Who knew that would be the start of a beautiful friendship. Thank you Fi for your unwavering support of my fledgling business so long ago and letting me capture your beautiful family over the last 8 years 💕.

May be an image of 1 person and baby

Sometimes life gets a little chaotic when you bring a newborn home, and organising a photo shoot in those first few weeks just doesn’t happen. I love photographing babies at all ages, and capturing them as they begin to become alert and engaged.
Today Alex was giving me all the cuteness he has been carefully developing over the last 3 months 💕.

Kuba …

The afternoon light at this time of year is so soft and gorgeous. The beaches are also a lot quieter and we can start the sessions early which is so much easier with young children. At 12 weeks old, Kuba was very relaxed and mellow as he hung out with his parents this afternoon.

Sisters …

The trouble with having an older sister is that she has done everything before you. She knows that at the end of a Cake Smash you get a bubble bath. And there is no way she’s going to miss out on joining you today.

My Mum has been the one constant throughout my entire life and having her unconditional love has created a powerful sense of belonging for me. I’ve always known what it has been to be loved, and to love in return. I’m so grateful for this beautiful gift from her. Happy Mother’s Day Mum 💕

Rest break …

My newborn sessions can take 2-3 hours, so there is no feeling rushed if your baby needs to feed or settle. And plenty of time for the star of the show to nap along the way.

Celebrating Mother’s Day 2023 …

I feel grateful to have been invited into so many families over the last year to capture the power of motherlove, in all its forms. I’ve only included a couple of photos from the 70 Christmas mini-sessions, otherwise the video would be too long! And wishing love and strength to all the mothers I have photographed on behalf of Heartfelt.
