When you bring your best friend along to your Cake Smash, but he hasn’t quite got the hang of posing yet.

This is my 11th year of offering Christmas mini-sessions, and I’ve been having a look back at the sets from each year. And what a treat to see so many familiar faces returning each year, even welcoming one family back for their 10th visit .

What a beautiful facility, right in our own backyard. I had heard about the Adolescent & Young Adult Hospice tucked in behind the site of the old Manly Hospital, but got to visit it today as part of a Heartfelt shoot. It’s a dedicated service for young people with life-limiting illness. Purpose built, filled with beautiful staff and light-airy spaces for families to spend time together. Congratulations to all those involved and the fundraising and support behind this very special place.

Even on a rainy day, it remains one of my favourite offices in the city to photograph events in.

Incredible to see what can be achieved when the community gets behind a much loved local charity. The NBWS held their inaugural Charity Golf Day to raise funds to support homeless women and children on the Northern Beaches. Over 130 keen golfers turned up before sunrise and had a whole lot of fun on the course, followed by lunch and a very generous amount of fundraising.
