When you rock up as the first grandchild during a party, you are guaranteed to steal the limelight and a whole lot of love.

I love photographing women at all stages of their lives, and documenting their journey, their beauty and their strength. So I was delighted to be invited back again by Colleen’s family as they celebrated her 80th birthday today.

I’m such a huge advocate for getting mothers in front of the camera and having photos with their children. I just love going through my own childhood albums and getting a wonderful sense of belonging in seeing my mother at all the different stages in her own motherhood journey .
