Afternoon tea today with my favourite neighbour to celebrate her birthday. Everyone needs a Vera in their lives to role model what it means to be the best version of yourself. She has a positive and gracious approach to life, embracing adventures and experiences with both hands. She has spent her life looking for ways to help those less fortunate, and does so with deep respect and humility. She also has a keen sense of humour and a strong streak of independence.
