How cute are these little cousins? Saying goodbye after their Christmas photos this afternoon.

I’m so delighted to be able to check in with families each year and capture the changes during our Christmas photos. And Evelyn is now a bit of a veteran in front of my lens, clocking up her sixth Christmas shoot X

I’m having some great fun with this year’s set and loving the magical combination of red and gold against the fir trees.

With all the enthusiasm of a five year old boy on a mission to understand exactly how the world works, Phoenix did stop asking questions briefly to give me his best smile.

Every time I open my door to welcome a family for their Christmas photos, I’m met with delightfully dressed children. So many wonderful outfits, and my home is awash in glitter and sparkles.

Sometimes at the end of a Christmas shoot I will bring out the snowballs to let the children have a play. I might rethink this strategy after Spencer showed me today how accurate a 3 year old can be with a shot.

What a wonderful gift for any child, to find something you are passionate about and then to have your mother able to literally show you the ropes. A joy to photograph this mother and daughter team as they spent time with their beautifully behaved horses, Lola and Ernie.

I love the variety in my job and spent a gorgeous afternoon around the horse stables photographing the relationship between a girl and her horse. Then Vinnie the dog comes in as we were finishing and steals the show.
