After days spent exploring gorgeous South Coast beaches under blue skies, we are spending the last day of holidays reading and watching the rain. And the locals are proving keen on literature as well.

Alice + Hannes have been married for 65 years and came over from South Africa to visit for 2 months with some of their family who live in Australia. However, with all the border restrictions, their visit has now extended over 2 years. It was lovely to capture some photos before they head back home shortly.

I first met Linda when our eldest children started Kindergarten, and she has always given so much to her community and has played a large part in keeping all our local soccer players organised. And just in case she had any spare time left, she is studying for another Uni degree, this time in Computer Science.

His family came together on the weekend for a heartfelt goodbye and a beautiful celebration of a life very well lived. At 98 years old, Graeme had a strong connection to his family, community and sport, being awarded Life Membership of Collaroy SLSC for his involvement with the club dating back to 1945. Lovely to have his family and 7 great-grandchildren there with the surf boat named in his honour.

I photographed a session for Heartfelt this morning and I am always blown away by the care and compassion provided by the nursing staff. Hazel has been a neonatal nurse for the last 14 years and will be working right through the Christmas holidays to provide high level care for the tiny patients under her watch. Thank you for all you do Hazel X
