Snug …

I don’t use props and complex poses in my newborn sessions, but I do have a gorgeous Moses basket that I can use if you like. Perfect for those snuggled up images that show how little they are in the very beginning.

Dancing queen …

Who needs music? Ruby happily dancing up a storm in a rock pool during our family shoot at the beach.

36 weeks …

It’s hard not to be caught up in the excitement as the countdown gets closer for Shannon + Corey. A whole new world awaits.

Early sunsets …

If you have young children, now’s the time to head outdoors for an afternoon photo shoot. The beaches are uncrowded, the light is beautiful and the earlier sunset means we are finished before 5pm, which is a lot easier than wrangling toddlers for an 8pm Summer sunset.

Pilu …

Providing smiles for days with their chocolate desserts.

Amelie …

With only just 11 days of practice, Amelie has perfected the art of napping after lunch. A skill that should see her enjoy a happy life.

Louise …

Just two words. Confident + gorgeous.

Mother’s Day …

Thank you to all the mothers who have allowed me into their lives to document a little part of their role this year. Mothers in the sleep deprived, heady days with a newborn, mothers juggling the ever changing demands of a family, grandmothers that have proudly looked back on their family spreading across the generations, and the grieving mothers I have been humbled to photograph through Heartfelt. Apologies for not including all the mothers I was delighted to photograph at Christmas, but this would have added another 60 faces to the video! Enjoy your day on Sunday X

Maui …

Coming to terms with the new little bundle that has landed in his family.

Giuseppe …

With his namesake in a quiet moment before his christening today.

Blackheath …

Great to get away for the weekend and stay in our friend’s amazing little cottage in the Blue Mountains. Nice to have a break from being behind the camera, so I took along my very capable photography assistant for this shot. He also proved very handy at catering and making cups of tea in the morning. After 32 years together, he has learnt a thing or two about composition and framing the shot.

Eddie …

Since when have one year old’s learnt the subtle art of the raised eyebrow?
