The delightful Louis had us all running in circles trying to keep up with him at this afternoon’s shoot. He is at such a wonderful age to explore the world, all within the safety of his loving parent’s arms.

Even with two older brothers in the house, Lucy is generally the one making the most commotion, so it was lovely to capture her in a serene moment.

A few more photos from the session with my nieces last week. They were busy with reading, craft and puppet shows, so it was lovely to have the time to sit back and watch them immersed in play.

I really enjoy days like yesterday … having the delightful Isabella come over to play dress-ups and be my model for the Christmas mini-sessions. Such a little angel.

It’s always important for a boy to have a set of wheels. And if you want to go fast, there is only one colour.

I have two of the most adorable nieces, so it was lovely to spend some time with them today. They took turns being the ‘photographer’s assistant’ … brushing hair, arranging props and helping with wardrobe changes. Don’t know if payment in cupcakes constitutes award wage?

The combination of warm weather and no swell seems to have the effect of making everyone in Manly this morning somewhat languid. The usual frantic pace was replaced with lots of mellow …. sitting, contemplating and time with the dogs.

So much life, colour and activity at the beach this morning. Two pods of dolphins swimming around, delighting all those who luckily had the time to stop and watch them.

Four years after losing Cathy from our Mothers’ Group, it still feels inconceivable that she is actually gone. A beautiful day to get together to remember her.
