So impressed to meet a 16 year old with such maturity, confidence and a focus on her future. No wonder Emelie’s mum is justifiably proud of her.

I must confess, I could happily offer Christmas mini-sessions all year. The chance to meet new families, see the world through the eyes of young children, and play with gold sparkles + props all day. The adorable Kahlani and Korah were such sweet visitors.

What better way to start my Christmas mini-sessions today then with Ollie, and her delightful red curls. Being very busy as 2 year olds are, she did agree to stop a few times to plant some kisses on her younger brother.

As part of our son’s birthday present, he got some time shooting a pistol at the shooting range. I remember when he was happy to celebrate with a new Thomas the Tank Engine.

I usually hold my family sessions around the beach so it was great to ‘head bush’ and try some new venues … while still only 5 minutes from home. Gorgeous afternoon light and tall, white flannel flowers made for a great backdrop. I first saw these sisters when they started kindergarten, so it was lovely to see the beautiful, poised young women they have become.

What’s not to love about getting ready for Christmas?

Sometimes as parents you get busy with the day-to-day logistics of balancing work and family commitments, so it’s nice to step back and take a moment to reflect on your relationship. 18 years. That’s impressive Kerry-Anne + Ben.

As well as receiving 5 high-resolution edited digital images, this year I am also providing a digital Christmas card. This will be personalised for your family with images from your shoot. You can then email or publish your card online, or get your cards printed and post them.

Sessions will be held in North Curl Curl, between 10am-6pm November 7-20.
