You know it’s hot when even your sunflowers have had too much sun and just lay down on the grass in defeat.

My little neighbour starts school in the morning. I do hope his teacher is ready. He has such an insatiable curiosity about how the world works and is always asking questions and stockpiling knowledge. Best of luck on your big adventure Ross.

Another hard day in the office. Down at Manly Beach photographing the Team Navy ASRL Australian Short Course Championships. Captured the North Bondi team between heats.

8 hours photographing 850+ nippers on the beach. 2,984 photos to edit. Very Australian to have a shark alarm clear the water for half an hour at the start!

Seems this city is just made for B+W photography. However, a more sombre feel when we visited over the last few days, with the Bourke St Mall tragedy still very raw.

Delighted to meet Johnny’s new Christmas present today. She has fitted seamlessly into her new family and knows exactly the place where she is most happy.

Loved photographing my beautiful friend and her mum this morning. A fearless duo, who travel far and wide together. Last year they headed to Myanmar as volunteer school teachers, ensuring the rogue placement of apostrophes was not going to happen on their watch.

Absolutely thrilled … I won and my photo is published in today’s SMH!

Delighted to photograph Lauren + Brendan’s wedding on the weekend. Living in London, they came home for a relaxed and elegant celebration with family and friends. Safe travels back Mr + Mrs O’Brien.

Sorry for bragging, but another one of my images have been selected in today’s SMH Summer competition as a highlight. Thanks to my gorgeous Vera and the wonderful day out we had together … driving in the Kombi listening to music from The Big Chill, then doing some swimsuit modelling down the beach. She completely rocks being 86!
