Jack + Harry …

Last year these gorgeous boys turned up for a Christmas shoot …. identical twins, dressed the same. I didn’t stand a chance. Thankfully they came dressed in different clothes today, and have begun to get freckles in different places, and their different personalities are emerging, so I can now identify them.

Billy …

As mothers of 4 year old boys are aware, they have too much of the world to explore and can’t waste time sitting. Thomas the Tank Engine has been my secret weapon to keep them seated for at least 30 seconds so I can grab a photo.

Sisters …

The gorgeous Korah + Kahlani back again this year for Christmas photos. It’s beautiful to see the girls have acquired their mother’s strong sense of grace.

Let it snow …

Started photographing my Christmas mini-sessions today and my ‘snow’ is proving popular with all the children. Olivia testing it out with some snow angels this morning.

Shadows …

Just received a Highly Commended for my photo in this month’s theme of ‘shadows’. Unfortunately the SMH Clique photography group has been closed down, but most of the photographers involved have created The Phoenix Project, to keep being creative and inspired with monthly challenges.

Boxers …

A punishing start to your Saturday morning.

Puerto Rico …

One from the archives and an afternoon we spent at Crash Boat Beach at Aguadilla.

Coco …

The delightful Coco was a vision in pink today and kept us on our toes with those fast little legs of hers!

Glide …

Love that feeling when you push off from the wall … a brief moment suspended in a sublime quietness.

Leanne …

I have photographed Leanne’s daughter on several occasions, so it was lovely to get Leanne in some photos as well.

Alexia …

Happy first birthday Alexia …. enjoy your party today, and don’t forget that this time you have to share your cake!

Santa’s little helper …

Came across this image from two years ago while I was setting up for my Christmas mini-sessions. It’s good to have a thorough prop-tester on hand.
