Oh, those curls and cheeks! Can you get a more gorgeous combination?

This was taken when we went on holidays with a group of families and the eldest of our children were yet to get their driving licence. Now they are all on our roads. You have been warned.

Who says you still can’t have fun in the rain?

What’s better than having a whole, delicious cake to eat for your birthday? Having three brothers to share in the fun after you have had your fill.

It can be a pretty exhausting regime for a newborn … nap, feed, nap, feed, photo shoot, nap, feed. Audrey was trying her best to keep her eyes open for the camera, but with limited success.

It’s so lovely when families get together to celebrate the big milestones, and the lives of those special to them. Ern turned an impressive 90 years old today and was surrounded by family, and Dawn, his wife of nearly 69 years.

One of my favourite places to shoot and my favourite time of day. I just love the combination of the soft, golden light and the colours of the beach. Then add a sweet family and let the children have little adventures, and watch them keep coming back to the security of their parents’ embrace.

Whenever I clean the fish tank, I always have a very vigilant and close assistant.

When you don’t have a drone and have to get the shot the old fashioned way … ie hanging out way too far over the verandah of the hotel room.

When a shoot is over and we are walking back to the cars, I always keep my camera out and ready … just in case little moments happen.
