Finished shooting my Christmas mini-sessions yesterday afternoon and jumped straight back into my regular work this morning with a 6am shoot down at the beach. 

Lachie had four years of having the whole Christmas set to himself, then it fast became a lot more crowded as his brothers arrived in quick succession

I love that Ava’s grandparents have a beautiful tradition of choosing a Christmas outfit for each of their grandchildren and bringing them along for photos each year .

I so love seeing the changes in children over the years, and had to laugh as Olivia has gone from being a reluctant participant in Christmas mini-sessions, to the confident leader of her little gang.

When I first started offering Christmas mini-sessions, Alison took a leap of faith and brought along her 17 week old baby daughter Evelyn. And then kept coming back each year for all sorts of different photo shoots, including a newborn session for her second daughter. Alison’s family have now moved up to the Hunter Valley, so I felt so much gratitude today when they made the trek back down for another year of Christmas photos

I’ve had such a huge response to this year’s Christmas mini-sessions and I’m loving opening my door each day to connect with familiar faces and to welcome new ones as well. 43 down and another 27 to go!

Gorgeous afternoon yesterday to recognise the achievements and bid farewell to the Year 12 students. I’m just finalising the online photo gallery so the school can send out the link and password to the students and parents tomorrow. You will be able to freely download, share and print all of the images.
