Silvana …

It’s been a long time in the making, with Covid lockdowns and weather getting in the way, but we had a wonderful afternoon getting all the extended family together. And seven beautiful grandchildren is something worth celebrating 💕

Cat nap …

That speedy little shut-eye that allows parents the time to boil the kettle and make a cup of hot tea, but usually never long enough to drink it.

Sarah …

I’ve been photographing Sarah for the last six years and it’s been a delight to capture all the changes in her family over this time. And every time she changes up her look, we put some time aside on a weekend, turn up the music and have fun getting some new headshots.

Heartfelt …

I just received a lovely recognition of service for my time volunteering as a photographer for Heartfelt (well, it’s actually been 6.5 years). Including the Christmas sessions we hold in the hospitals, I’ve photographed 92 families over this time. There are sessions that still resonate strongly with me after many years. I am humbled to be invited into such a private space, and from each family I have learnt more about empathy, grace and deep love. It still remains the work I am most proud of.

I’ve just had an incredible 3 weeks holiday, road tripping around Tassie with my husband and another couple. I’ve had great fun capturing some ‘shadow selfies’ along the way, inspired by the work of my favourite 1950’s photographer, Vivian Maier.

Getting the gang back together 💕. Delighted to be asked back again to photograph all the changes with this family visiting from the UK. And the new addition Rory fits perfectly into the lineup of grandsons.

Basil thief …

We had just finished our session getting photos of Zara with her grandparents, then she went outside and found our herb garden. She spent 5 minutes picking leaves off the basil plant and eating them one by one. When she paired them with a tomato she also picked from the garden, it was those good, strong Italian genes coming through 💕
