So thankful for the gorgeous little Christmas hats received on my doorstep, knitted wth love by Lynette Offner, Susan Cannons, Jean Field, Ros Maark, Sue West and Knit Manly. Farewell Jeff …

For the last 16 years, Jeff has been the Deputy Principal at Curly school and he has been a constant presence while everything and everyone around him changed. Thanks for all your dedication, care and concern for our children while they have been under your watch. Enjoy the time with your family.

Gift Certificate …

Nice to know that some families will be waking up with the gift of photography under their tree this year. I offer printed Gift Certificates that I can drop off or post to you, or digital versions that can be emailed. The certificates can be either for a dollar amount, or for a specific type of session, so get in touch if you have any questions.

Any knitters out there …

In my role as a volunteer photographer for Heartfelt, we head into hospitals close to Christmas and provide free photos for families who have babies in the Neonatal and Special Care units. This year I’m photographing at the Royal North Shore and Northern Beaches hospitals. I’ve possibly left it too late, but was wondering if there were any knitters out there who were able to make a few hats for us to take in? I’ve attached some patterns, but happily accept any little tiny Christmas hats or little tiny Christmas blankets etc. We leave the hats with each family after our photos due to hygiene protocols. If you were able to help, I would be happy to collect them from you or they can be posted to me at 2 Ross St, North Curl Curl NSW 2099. The sessions are being held on 19 December. Many thanks X

Kasper …

I’m loving the simplicity of my Sitter Sessions that are perfect for 6-10 month old babies. Using natural light, white outfits and minimal props, they are a beautiful way of putting the focus squarely on your child. The gorgeous Kasper showing off his new sitting skills for me πŸ’•

Good morning sunshine …

When the alarm goes off at 4.15am for a sunrise maternity session, I must admit I’m not feeling the enthusiasm for it at that moment. But then you get to the beach and it’s just a magical combination of all the elements and a couple on the edge of an exciting new phase of their life. Good luck Lowri + Chris for the next few weeks πŸ’•

Friday …

How fabulous to be a one year old, sitting amongst the flowers in your beautiful dress getting your photo taken with your sisters. Until it’s not. Until you just want out and want to go home. Right now.

That’s a wrap …

I’m humbled by the huge support for my Christmas mini-sessions this year, with an incredible 70 families coming through for photos. All sessions have been photographed and edited, but I’m still finding lots of snow and sparkles around! And just a reminder, final orders need to be in tonight for any Christmas cards, ornaments, prints etc so they are ready in time for Christmas. Here’s my second batch of festive little people πŸ’•
