A family milestone today as we celebrated our eldest son’s Uni Graduation. Covid lockdowns and online learning meant it was a different experience to the one he signed up for, but he has made firm friendships, worked incredibly hard and made his parents so very proud πŸ’•.

2014 NYC …

These photos popped up on my feed from 9 years ago. I took classes at an amazing photography school when we lived in New York for 2 years. These were taken up on the roof of the school, and homework was completed by wandering the streets of Manhattan with my camera. Absolutely loved my time there and learnt from passionate and generous teachers.

Bringing it all together …

During a session, I’m always keeping an eye on the light, with a view on how it can be part of the storytelling, or add to the moment. So when I received this message from the mum of these boys, it makes my heart sing πŸ’•.
“Funny how you can be in the same space as another person but not see it at all. I love seeing the day through your eyes and the results are beautiful. That one took my breath away”.
