On a cold Sunday morning, the centre of town was the perfect mix of deserted wide streets and old buildings filled with character. Much to the surprise of our children, the streets also proved to be a great hunting ground for Pokemon GO.

Swapped the blue of the ocean for the blue of the mountains. Looking over the clouds below the Three Sisters always feels a little like flying.

Attended a street photography workshop today in Chatswood run by the SMH Clique team. A great day of learning tips and ideas, and hearing stories from the Fairfax journalist Peter Rae. Always inspiring to spend time with these guys, and they are always so open and sharing with their knowledge.

Each morning the Bold & Beautiful swimmers hit the water to swim between Manly Beach and Shelley Beach. After the storm of last week, the beach exit was pretty gruesome, barefoot through all that rotting seaweed.

I was the photographer for the Manly Soft Sand Classic today and loved watching others exert themselves while I remained behind the lens. I’ve run a half marathon before, but these guys ran 21kms on soft sand. Crazy.

Lots of surfers out this morning trying their luck in the big swells. This guy was graceful in defeat.
