What’s the old quote about never working with children and animals? Well, I disagree. That’s always when the fun starts. Charlie the dog came along to today’s newborn session and made sure Archie’s toes were always immaculately clean

It’s been wonderful to see so many gorgeous little faces for this year’s Christmas mini-sessions. For some families this is their sixth year and it’s been great being a part of their family tradition. These sessions sold out quickly and I’ve loved this year’s set and the chance to play in the snow again.

Before the chaos and mess of a Cake Smash, I love to get a family portrait. Nobody looks this clean again during our session.

I first photographed these identical twins back in 2016 when they came dressed in matching white shirts. I thought I had nailed it and sent out the gallery, methodically checking I had the same number of photos of each brother. Their mum politely enquired if I had any other photos, because all the ones I had supplied were only of Jack. Now she brings them each year in different coloured shirts .

Oh Harvey, you won me over when I first photographed you as a baby under my Christmas tree and you’ve been getting more delightful each year.
