I loved my session this week with the gorgeous, heavily pregnant Neda.
I’ve been photographing all things family and children for nearly 5 years, so it feels like a very natural progression for me to start offering maternity sessions. Outdoors, relaxed and putting the focus on the curves and connection.
My newborn photography usually has a very light and airy style, so this photo has a very different feel. I was sitting in the nursery while Jess found a quiet moment after feeding Jackson, and I just wanted to capture that beautiful connection between them.
3 weeks old and his face tells it all. He knows exactly how crazy life is going to be growing up with an older sister.
22 years together and only a few more weeks until they welcome a little baby into their family. Best of luck Neda + Kamran X
One of my favourites from New York. Just wandering the streets with a camera was such an awesome experience. Setting out with no expectations, just waiting for things to unfold in front of you.
This dog was so confident in his place of belonging in the family, he managed to sneak into so many of the photos during today’s newborn session.

It’s been great having Pia for work experience with me this week and we ventured out today for some portrait lessons. It’s unusual for me to be in front of the camera and receiving instructions, but love Pia’s composition and her great use of the gorgeous colours and textures down at the beach.
