I was photographing an event yesterday and suddenly the tables were turned. The enthusiastic 5 year old Finn was trying to beat me at my own game.

Just wanted to share some photos from an afternoon shoot down at the beach with these gorgeous cousins. These sessions are a great way of updating your photos with a mix of portraits and candid images.

Such a privilege to be invited into a family home as they settle in with their new baby. A place where time is absorbed and lost around this tiny new addition. And watching a newly minted big brother coming to terms with his new responsibilities.

I’ve watched these sisters growing up through primary school so I was delighted to get to photograph them on the weekend. Such confident, relaxed and polite young women. A credit to their family.

With four daughters, four son-in-laws, twelve grandchildren and a gorgeous wife, there was always going to be a whole lot of love surrounding Graham to celebrate his birthday. Oh, and noise. But I imagine he is used to that by now.

No sleep-in for these sisters on the first day of school holidays. We made the most of a glorious morning with an early shoot down on the beach. Such a spectacular time of the year.

A lot of my families choose to hold their newborn sessions in their own homes, especially if they already have young children. Siblings are more relaxed and can continue on with their day in their own surroundings. How gorgeous is baby Thea? A perfection addition to this beautiful family.
