I’m halfway through my Christmas mini-sessions and often get parents turning up worried that their child won’t cooperate and they won’t get a Christmas photo.
To allay your fears, I’ll share one of my early Christmas photos. Enough said.

My grandmother actually bought this chair for me before I was born. It’s lasted extremely well and it still makes me smile when I get to incorporate it into a photo shoot. This is the gorgeous Isabelle, coming back to visit and celebrate her first birthday.
I’ve been photographing Rosie for the last 4 years as part of the Christmas mini-sessions. So lovely to see her grow into a confident and very capable young woman.
I love holding my Christmas mini-sessions because I can immerse myself in the lives of young children and briefly see the world through their eyes.
You know Summer is close when your son turns up on the doorstep in the afternoon with 10 friends for a swim. Charli has been playing on the boy’s soccer team for years and I’ve always been blown away by her talent and how fearless she plays. And she completely rocks those glasses!
I felt so privileged to be asked to go down to Berry during the week to capture some memories for a family that had gathered together to celebrate an important milestone. This is Joshua, representing one of the three generations.
Feel like spending Summer at the beach? Photographed a gorgeous house today in Curl Curl that is going to be listed for a Summer holiday rental.
Ventured over the hill to Long Reef for a family shoot on the weekend. I love how 3 year olds can find such delight in the smallest things. Well, for five seconds. Then it’s off to find another distraction.
This appeared in my timeline from 4 years ago …
3 great things about using my husband for photography practice. He is handsome. He is free. And I get to take him home at the end of the shoot.
