Mother’s Day … my one guaranteed day I can wrangle a photo of both my gorgeous boys together with me … and get approval to post it!

Don’t you just want to bottle that feeling? The pure, simple joy of being thrown in the air. My photo of Mia was just selected as a finalist in the Camera House competition with the theme of FEELINGS.

Surprising his parents by arriving 3 weeks earlier than planned, little Sam has now firmly cemented his place in his parents’ hearts.

Grabbing one of the last photos of the session and I think the children’s grandfather was behind me, holding their attention with outlandish stories. I just love their reactions.

I came across this photo I had taken of my son Gabe. He is reluctant to appear in front of my camera so I often get him to ‘just step in to test my lighting setup’. He is now an adult and I’m still getting my head around that.

He is courageous, engaged in the world, a crazy science nerd, invested in the future and loves us. He also calls me out on what matters and makes me a better person.

I love that this photo messes with your head a little in terms of perspective and scale. How seriously huge are these cruise ships that come into the harbour?

A gorgeous day to have family and friends get together from around the world to celebrate an important milestone. And doesn’t the harbour look just spectacular from the Manly Skiff Club?
