Sometimes when I do a shoot, it’s the candid photos that really capture the emotion and become my favourites. This was taken at the end of a family session when four young cousins had been running, jumping and smiling up a storm for me for an hour. I had promised them a swim in the lake when we were finished, and this face told me we had reached the end!
This photo was just selected as a finalist in the Camera House competition with the theme PORTRAIT.
With two older brothers, it’s sometimes nice to just step aside from the ruckus and get your florals on.
A sneak peek from today’s Mothers Group first birthday party where they held a group cake smash for the 12 children. Every range of emotion on display within a 2 minute period! Lucky to have a puppy on hand to help with the clean up.
I love how 5 year olds are so incredibly curious about the world around them. So much to learn, and an urgency to understand how it all works and where they fit in.
Can’t get a more spectacular day. Head outside and enjoy the sunshine.
Not much of a noticeable difference in Sydney, but NY was such a riot of intense, vibrant colour in all of the parks. It was an incredible season to photograph, beginning with almost an overnight wild burst of orange and red.
